Deirdre Shannon

Deirdre Shannon was our guest on the show on Wednesday 16th March. We played a few songs from her which were "The Prayer" a duet with her brother Matthew Gilsenan, "Siobhán Ní Dhuibhir" which is coming up on her new album and "Lord Over You". She preformed two live songs which were "Maid Of Culmore" and "Song For Ireland". Her career has seen her perform all over the world with Lord of the Dance with Michael Flatley. She was also involved with groups Anúna and Celtic Woman. She will be releasing a new album soon.
