The event is to showcase local talent, community spirit and to create a positive atmosphere in the area. There will be two stages running, one for bands and one for acoustic acts. Headling the festival will be the BeerMats etc...
More than 30 acts are set to play with many of these who have been interviewed by presenters in the radio station. Trevor Halpin of Music Reviewed Unsigned has great bands playing including Fox.E and the Good Hands etc... While radio presenter Keith McLoughlin has many good acts playing over on the acoustic stage including Sinead McNally, James O'Connor and Audrey Trainor etc... who have been great guests on his radio show During the Week.
The event has been organised by Pat Teehan of RAPID, by the presenters of West Dublin Access Radio and by many other volunteers. There will be fun and games for the kids with spot prizes to be won and also a BBQ with a sitting area on location. The event is set to be a great occasion for family, friends and music fans alike. All the people involved in the concert hope you can join them for a great day of fun and entertainment.
